Our sampling system can be split into 3 main components – electronics, sampling bottle, and chamber and winch.
The electronic component involves the circuitry behind remotely controlling the movement of motors via LoRa modules and arduino unos.
The sampling bottle includes the mechanism that causes the lid to close only after the bottle is embedded in ash in order to collect it.
The chamber stores the electronic circuitry and also includes the winch, connecting the motors and the sampling bottle.
