Learning Experience

MnT has been a very unique and learning experience for all of us. For most of us, exposure to such “hands-on” projects is not only limited but also costly. Thankfully, the MnT platform has not only provided us with a generous budget, but also a very capable and helpful team of instructors (shout-out to Yaoxiang, Fuden, Hanyang, Dr. Ho 😀 ) to provide us with an optimum learning environment.

We particularly like how the entire course is structured to give weight to the hard skills we learn (such as soldering, 3D printing, assembling hardware, and wiring electronics), and not just our final prototype. The ample amount of resources also enabled us to experiment with different designs and learn through iteration, including understanding why some approaches failed. Ultimately, this opens up a new dimension of problem-solving that we don’t usually see in our curriculum.

Finally….

Many thanks to the course instructors, especially Yaoxiang and Fuden, for their insightful guidance and advice throughout the project 🙂 And to our team:
