Planning and purchasing of materials
– planning ahead helps in purchasing materials as materials often have long lead time
– buying from physical store with ready stock like sgbotics,element14, tertiary robotics can be helpful
– buying from carousell is also useful to get the parts fast but it is not valid for claiming process.
3D printing
– important to ensure printer have sufficient filament
– do not save weird symbols in file name, so less likely to have a corrupted file
– give room for tolerance for the 3d printed parts.
– different printer have different setting

Coding/ Online tutorials

– Some online tutorials are made awhile ago, and therefore might require previous version of the program such as python 2 instead of python 3.

– Otherwise, the code might have change abit and might need some experimenting.
