Briefly describe what your project is about.
During late night or wee hours in the morning, there would be loud super cars disrupting the neighborhoods with their loud engine sounds. The sounds could potentially be up to 80dB range. These sounds disrupts the residents from a well rested night of sleeps.

Vision
What is the goal of your project?
We plan to build a device that take a short video clip with audio when a certain threshold volume is hit. The device would save the recorded videos and user can review the video to catch the offenders. The idea would for the video to be able to record down the vehicle license plate so that maybe a warning can be send to them. This could deter people from inconsiderately making excessive noise at odd hours disrupting others. The device could possibly be adapted to other use case as well.
