Motivation Behind Project HILDA

• We hope to lower the barrier of learning prototyping and tinkering for students/youth, as well as entering the hobbyist community.
• Our small contribution to creating this envisioned world is by making a drone with a modular anti-collision add-on as well as a collision-resistant frame.
• We decided to use a drone because we believe a drone can easily interest youth and students (Especially so in Singapore, where there are hobbyist shops and drone competitions such as the Singapore Amazing Flying Machine Competition).

How Does Project HILDA Achieve These Goals?

• We decided to make an anti-collision system, to reduce the fear and danger of flying a self-built drone.
• The anti-collision system is a modular add-on, which allows new hobbyists to easily integrate it into their own self-built drone.
