Description of our Project AutoPotts

In this two months of Special Term, our goal is to automate the growth of fruits in a domestic home setting. This can be done by scaling a farm down to a size that is suitable for homeowners. This product will be able to control important parameters such as light, temperature, soil moisture levels, humidity, CO2, etc. This will be done using the sensors of these parameters and their individual output components, using coding which we will pick up over this course.

We decided to use strawberries to test our product because strawberries are a challenge to grow in Singapore due to their specific conditions required for them to grow properly. Hence, it would be a good way for us to test the success of our product.
