Description
During exam periods, markers, such as teaching assistants and professors, have to mark hundreds and hundreds of exam scripts in short periods of time. There is often a lack of labour allocation for this tedious activity. NTU has newly acquired a technology that allows a marking software to mark exam scripts that have been digitalised. For this technology to be properly implemented, our project aims to create a machine that is able to digitalise exam scripts.
The machine that we are to build would aid in the lack of labour as the flipping of pages of exam scripts are automated, together with the replacement of exam scripts. The automated cameras in the machine would be able to capture and digitalise pages of exam scripts.
Vision
The goal of our project is to create a machine with automated abilities in flipping and capturing the pages of an exam script, in order to alleviate marking woes.
