Pre-meeting
We left off last week with our Raspberry Pi holder printing over the weekend. On Tuesday, we were going to collect our print. Electronics-side, the circuit and PCB was designed over the weekend and we were going to check the holes of the PCB to make sure that it fits our components.
During meeting
We collected our print and mounted it all together. Pictures are shown below.
After this, we made more changes to the design by adding in space for a powerbank that we decided to use. We will go back to the MnT lab on Friday to collect it and test it.
We also tested the current that our electrical components use with 10V supplied.
After confirming the size of the holes on the PCB and the components, we ordered our PCB and components from JLCPCB, so all that’s left to do is to wait for them to arrive.
Post-meeting
Hopefully, everything will arrive by Friday and we can test everything out.
