We went out to hunt for more things we needed on a Saturday. We met at 10 in the morning in order to be able to visit every hardware store we had in mind. We went to Lavender, the haven of hardware and piping stores. In the first half hour we managed to find pipe connectors that fit our 5/16″ pipes. We then went on to find copper sheets for our ice molds. We walked all the way from Norika (near Farrer Park MRT) to Teck Leong Industries Pte Ltd, the shop that sells all things metal. It was a humid day and the walk seemed longer than it was. When we finally made it to the shop, the shop was closed despite Google telling us otherwise. After contacting them, we found out that due to current COVID-19 situation, they only accepted online orders. Feeling a little defeated we walked around and found a hardware store that sells brazing torch, gas, and 100% copper rods.
