As young adults living in the modern 21st century, the four of us are highly intrigued and excited about the prospects of Internet of Things and the development of Smart Homes. We did not look far away from our very own homes. From doing household chores, we discovered a difficulty in thorough cleaning of windows, especially for hard-to-reach windows. Inspired by the designs of existing wall climbing robots, we adapted it for the purpose of window cleaning and created Windowbot.

We believe that our portable Windowbot will be able to greatly assist the elderly and the handicapped in conveniently cleaning their glass windows.
