Base Platform – 300mm (L) x 200m (W) x 62mm (H)

We have designed our first prototype using Fusion 360. The circumference of the base platform is raised like an enclosed wall. The whole prototype design will be supported by two rear dual-axis gear motor wheels and one front swivel castor wheel like those of micro-mobility vehicles
Camera Sensor Mount – 100mm (L) x 40mm (W) x 100mm (H)

We have 3D printed a separate mount which will be attached to the front of the platform using 2 sets of allen screw and nut. The Depth Camera Sensor will be attached to the top of the mount using M6 allen screw (substituting 1/4-20 size of typical camera mount screw) and washers.

Top View
We used a smaller substitute – an unused wooden chopping board instead of 3D printing our initial base platform design as it uses a lot of material (large volume of almost 6 times compared to the camera mount) which we are likely to change for our final product. The prototype will mount the Depth Camera Sensor, Laptop, Arduino Mega, Motor Driver, and Batteries.
