Introduction

Meet the Team! –  Xinpei, Josie, Tailai, Jerome and Yuhan

We are people who met on a common goal – to achieve something amazing. We think Drones are the future of delivery. Hence, we decided to work on this project We are ambitious people who want to create something special during an unprecedented covid19 pandemic in 2020. Perhaps, we may have chosen a challenging task to do during a pandemic as there are plenty of restrictions. Ordering the parts needed takes time and with the travel restrictions, the items have a longer delivery time. Also, it was initially hard to come and work together. We are a new team and we could not meet face-to-face due to the social distancing rules. Nevertheless, we are poised to make this work. We are motivated to complete this within the time frame.

Objective

We are pushing the boundaries of drone delivery 📦 by introducing a multiple drone delivery system controlled by one computer. On top of that, we will work on a release mechanism that uses electromagnets to form the release mechanism instead of using a traditional claw mechanism to drop and deliver the packages.

Mission objective

Controlling two autopilot drones to deliver the packages to GPS-defined locations every 50 meters from the initial location.

Create a release mechanism that can carry 100g.
