Design and Develop the Rotational Base

Ideation

The original idea to build a rotational base came from the restriction of the movement of 3D delta printer extruder. The printer frame confines the extruder to the printable volume, 360 * 255mm (height * diameter), which is too small to accommodate all the lab equipment (vessels and dispensers). Instead of removing the frame of the printer to free the extruder which complicate the development process, we decided to build a conveyor system to deliver the equipment to the reachable area.

a. Firmware — Marlin: coordinates the heaters, steppers, sensors, lights, LCD display, buttons, and everything else involved in the 3D printing process
