Vegan Cooking Workshop
In October 2025, Green Peas held two vegan cooking workshops led by Residential Education chef Priscill, where participants got hands-on experience preparing healthy and flavourful plant-based dishes. The workshops aimed to inspire more sustainable eating habits by showing how easy and enjoyable vegan cooking can be.
In the first session, participants learned to prepare Mediterranean Cauliflower Rice with Dairy-Free Greek Salad, using cauliflower and tasty tofu and vegetables salad. The second session featured Wholemeal Pita with Grilled Vegetables and Tahini, where participants made the pita from scratch and filled it with naturally flavorful vegetables and rich tahini.
Throughout both workshops, Chef Priscill guided participants step by step, making it easy for beginners to follow along and pick up practical cooking techniques. The interactive format encouraged participants to engage and gain confidence in preparing their own plant-based meals.
At the end of each session, participants got to taste and take home their creation. Through this experience, we hope to continue reducing the stigma around vegan cooking and empower the NTU community to make healthier, eco-friendlier choices in their everyday lives.
