Heritage Night is the first event for all the members and newcomers of the club to break the ice and interact with people who share the same passion for heritages and cultures. This event also allows club members to kick-start their journey in Heritage Club by possessing sense of belonging in the club to better indulge in future events held by Heritage Club.

Dry run for Heritage Night was held on 25th August 2022, Thursday, a day before the actual event. Game Masters and Emcee roles, which were assigned to the HCI Sub-committees prior to the dry run, were able to better familiarize themselves throughout the Dry Run.

After the 20-minute registration starting from 7:00pm, the event officially commenced. Participants were allocated in groups of 9 or 10. Game Masters and HCI Main Committees, were excluded from the groupings, for execution of event. Promotional video made by Publicity & Publications (PnP) division of Heritage Club was played, followed by Opening Speech by Vice President of the club, Mr. Kevin Yok.

At 7:35pm, the Ice-breaking session was carried out for 35 minutes. Ice-breaking session was composed of ‘2 Truths 1 Lie’ and ‘Never Have I Ever’. It was apparent that everyone had a blast in getting to know each other and telling their personal stories. The atmosphere was filled with laughter.

After a 5-minute toilet break until 8:15pm, the exciting Team Building session began. Team Building session was composed of ‘Charade’ and ‘Who’s the Spy’, led by Game Masters. Team Building lasted for 50 minutes, due to the nature of the games which involved more time for actions and assessments.

After another 5 minutes toilet break until 9:10pm, Goal Setting session began. Goal setting session allowed participants to understand the future prospects of each division and the club. All project managers for all 5 divisions in Heritage Club presented on the main objective of each division, the upcoming events, as well as the goals set by each division.

Heritage Night came to an end with Affirmative Speech by the President of the Club, Ms. Ng Woon Yee, who consolidated the goals of each division as well as the vision of the Club. Supper was distributed to the participants after a Mass Photo Session conducted by PnP division.
