Date: 1 October 2022
Time: 1:45pm – 5:15pm
Venue: National Gallery Singapore
The goal of this event was to introduce participants to the art of great artists in Singapore, honor and pay tribute to Singapore’s heritage as well as to provide participants with knowledge about Singapore’s nation-building process and its current multicultural society.
The event was held physically at the National Gallery Singapore and the 18 participants were grouped together throughout the event. Before the event, participants were sent an email with information about their group, the location, and required forms to fill out.
The event was participated by 10 Heritage Discovers and Explorers sub-committee member that present for the event throughout various segments covered in the National Gallery Singapore. At the end of the event, participants were asked to fill out an anonymous e-feedback form to collect comments on their experience in order to improve future events organized by the Heritage Discovers and Explorers Division.
From the feedback, participants overall enjoyed the event flow and were satisfied with the knowledge gained, the presentation and the duration of the event. However, some comments noted that the presentation could be more confident and that guides from the National Gallery Singapore can be employed for the event.
