The main learning outcome of this event is to showcase the history of Singapore in line with Singapore’s 2022 National Day Parade theme ‘Stronger Together, Majulah!’ https://www.ndp.gov.sg/about/theme-and-logo (‘“Stronger Together” reminds Singaporeans that unity in our diversity is what makes us stronger.’)
We wish to provide NTU community with information regarding the history, food and landmarks of Singapore as well as raising awareness on the importance of preserving the local heritage and traditional games among NTU community. We feel the need to instill a greater sense of pride and belonging to the country and to inculcate appreciation towards Singapore’s forefathers in founding the nation.
Members of the public who managed to solve our mini games are entitled to receive a mini reward. Our mini games include crossword puzzle and origami chatterbox which aim to enhance the knowledge of our target audience on Singapore’s local history and heritage.
