🌟 Reflecting on an Incredible Journey to Little India 2023 🌟
On the 17th of September 2023, our Heritage Discover and Explorers division, part of the NTU Heritage Club, embarked on an enriching expedition that brought us closer to the vibrant tapestry of culture and history in our beloved Singapore. 🇸🇬
With 40 enthusiastic participants by our side, we set out to explore the gems of Little India, an iconic hub that resonates with the rich heritage of Indian and South Asian communities in Southeast Asia. 🕌✨
Our journey was filled with enlightening visits to renowned landmarks such as the Sri Veeramakaliamman temple, the Sakya Muni Buddha Gaya Temple, and the Indian Heritage Centre. Each location held a piece of history, and our participants had the chance to immerse themselves in its beauty and significance. 🗺️📸

The Indian Heritage Centre offered a captivating guided tour, shedding light on the deep-rooted history of the Indian community in Singapore. We then ventured to various heritage sites, where our sub-committees unveiled intriguing facts about each place. 🗺️📚
But what’s an adventure without some delicious traditional Indian sweets? Our participants indulged in these delightful treats from Singapore’s oldest Indian sweet shop, adding a dash of sweetness to our day. 🍬😋
