By integrating the event’s insights with the school’s curriculum, participants can expect to gain a deeper understanding of alternative investment.
EAMC is a yearly event organised by NTU IIC in collaboration with the London School of Economics Business and Finance Group. EAMC serves as a platform for students to showcase their portfolio modelling, portfolio analytics and presentation skills to renowned industry professionals while expanding their professional connections globally. For corporates, it serves as an opportunity to scout talent by watching high performing undergraduates from Universities all over the world competing against one another to come up with the best performing portfolio of financial assets. We successfully concluded the inaugural edition of EAMC in March 2019, where we attracted over 300 participants from reputable universities worldwide and ultimately hosted the Grand Finals in London.
Aligning with the Global Money Week (GMW) initiative led by OECD/INFE, Singapore Global Money Week (SGMW) focuses on educating youth about financial planning, budgeting, saving, and investing. Our objective is to educate NTU community about the importance of financial literacy and its impact on their personal and professional lives through targeted information sessions and interactive displays.
Our Social Responsibility
Our event topics and themes revolve around sustainability, aiming to promote awareness and engagement among our participants.
We reach out to schools across various regions in Singapore to promote engaging seminars and board games designed to enhance financial literacy within the community.
We gather students from tertiary institutions (pre-university) across Singapore to share educational and career opportunities in the banking and finance industry.
We empower senior citizens who are not familiar with finance, by providing them with the necessary financial knowledge to competently manage their finances through finance-related games. Additionally, we educate them on how scams have creatively evolved and emphasize the importance of being vigilant and careful.
