Event Overview
The Eurasia Asset Management Challenge (EAMC) strikes a dynamic balance between rigorous investment analysis and the strategic application of macroeconomic insights. Designed for undergraduates from prestigious local and international universities, EAMC offers a high-impact platform for aspiring finance professionals to showcase their portfolio management skills and strategic thinking.
Challenge
Teams of three are challenged to test investment frameworks, apply critical thinking to real-world scenarios, and present actionable solutions. Participants are assessed on their ability to understand client needs, conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of the macroeconomic environment, and demonstrate sound asset allocation decisions.
By the numbers:
- Over 130 applicants from a diverse range of academic institutions.
- 18 standout participants advanced to the finals and brought home top honours.
Finals & Judging
Finalists presented their strategies before a judging panel composed of both academic experts and seasoned industry professionals, receiving direct, constructive feedback.
Participant Experience & Networking
Beyond the formal presentations, participants actively engaged in discussions with the judges to gain deeper insights into investment practices and forge meaningful connections with established leaders in the asset management space.

In 2026, EAMC aims to work with ESSEC France to broaden its reach across European universities. We’re also introducing dedicated mentoring sessions to further cultivate the next generation of finance leaders and establish IIC’s broader goal of honing investment professionals.
