National Cashflow Competition (NCF) 2024

The National Cashflow Competition (NCF) 2024 has been recognized with the Colab4Good Award for Service to Society, underscoring its impact in promoting financial literacy among Singapore’s youth. Now in its 16th year, NCF continues to evolve, integrating new learning outcomes annually to enhance participants’ understanding of financial decision-making.

This year, NCF 2024 welcomed 649 participants from 46 schools, 61 facilitators, and 19 event committee members, with a total of 760 attendees. The competition, which began in 2008, has grown significantly in scale and outreach.

The 2024 edition focused on Sustainable Finance, emphasizing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors in financial decision-making. Participants engaged in interactive simulations and activities designed to encourage consideration of asset value, personal utility (happiness), and environmental responsibility. The theme reflects the increasing importance of sustainability in financial practices and aims to instill long-term responsible financial behavior in participants.

The success of NCF 2024 was made possible through the contributions of various stakeholders. The organizing committee, sponsors, and partners played a critical role in ensuring the event’s effectiveness. In particular, we acknowledge the support of Dr. Sarjit Singh, Central Singapore Community Development Council, and Capital Gains Studio Pte Ltd, whose collaboration was instrumental in delivering a meaningful experience for all participants.

Looking ahead, NCF remains committed to advancing financial literacy through innovative and engaging formats. Future editions will continue to incorporate contemporary financial themes to equip participants with relevant knowledge and skills.
