Through structured and engaging content, we provide weekly learning resources tailored to different experience levels, ensuring that all members can build a strong foundation and advance their investment expertise.

1. Invest Academy (Beginner-Friendly)

Designed for those new to investing, Invest Academy offers a structured introduction to essential financial concepts. Members will gain foundational knowledge through accessible content, covering topics such as:

  • Personal finance & budgeting
  • Basics of stock markets and asset classes
  • Market trends and economic indicators
  • Macroeconomic understanding

2 Types of Weekly Sessions

  • Invest Skills Sessions – focus on critical thinking and applying knowledge to real-world concepts.
  • Industry Professionals Sharing – understand Singapore’s financial landscape and network with finance professionals (roles, skills in demand, hiring tips).

2. Nanyang Student Investment Fund (NSIF) (Advanced & Exclusive)

For members seeking a deeper dive into investment strategies, NSIF provides a premier learning experience through advanced workshops and hands-on applications. It moves at an intensive pace and prepares students for case competitions.

  • Stock pitching techniques
  • Financial modeling and valuation methods
  • Portfolio management strategies
  • Risk assessment and quantitative investing

Semester Flow

  • First Semester — Build a full DCF model on a company with real-life assumptions and sensitivities.
  • Second Semester — Explore broader topics (e.g., valuation techniques, sales & trading).
  • End of Semester — stock pitch + modeling assessment.
