The Top 5

The Top 5

As the Top 5, we’re responsible for the overall direction and goals of the SPMS Club whilst also running day-to-day operations! Organising events, collaborating with external schools and organisations, managing the SPMS Club finances, and most importantly representing our SPMS student community… our days are always jam-packed with things to do, but we’re always around if you need us!

Eng Kang Qi

President

Mathematical Sciences, Year 4

Hey everybody, I’m Kang Qi. As the President, I often find myself at the forefront, leading the club through various events. Now, it might seem like this position is tailor-made for the extroverted types.

According to my MBTI, I’m supposed to be an extrovert (which, I admit, aligns with the role quite well), but truth be told, I’m secretly an introvert👀 However, if you have any queries, feedback or suggestions, feel free to reach out to me and I’ll be glad to be at your service!!!

Also, stay tuned to the upcoming SPMS Club events/projects and your support means a lot to us! Looking forward to interacting with you during the upcoming events/projects!!✨

Keane Wee Jin Yen

Vice-President (Internal Relations)

Physic and Applied Physics, Year 4

Hihi, Im Keane, the VP Internal. You might be wondering why I’m holding the 12 picture cards. No, I’m definitely not addicted to gambling.

There are 12 of us that are under the internal branch, hence each card represents 1 of us. A good playing hand is always made out of multiple cards, where every card complements 1 or more cards. We will always be working together to plan and execute to the best of our abilities!

Do come down and join us for all the school wide events that we will be planning for you!! Hope to see everyone there!!!

Lee JiaLe

Vice-President (External Liaison)

Physics and Applied Physics, Year 4

Fun fact: We were told to follow a format to write this whole thing but imma flip it around. 🤡

Dear general public, office and fellow students of SPMS,

What’s the job scope of VP External you ask?

Good question! It’s actually what I’m planning to research on for my final year project (FYP).

Hearsay a certain VP Internal may have flexed that he has half of the Management Committee under him. Fret not because we, in External, have over a hundred dedicated subcommittee members divided among the 4 Houses to craft the best possible student life experience, tailor-made for you from the very first day you join the SPMS SuPreMeS Orientation Programme as a freshie till the day you graduate!

Is my job safe?

YES! Safety is also my no.1 priority! As the construction of the 4 House is still in progress, safety equipment must be donned at all times.👷

I hope that you will accept our proposal and approve our budget!

With Love❤️,

Y4 PHMP,

JiaLe.

Donovan Ang

Financial Controller

Mathematical Sciences, Year 3

Hello, I’m Doncon and I will not con you of your money (I think).

I handle most financial matters of the Club.

Eduard Wikarta

Honorary General Secretary

Physics and Mathematical Sciences, Year 4

Hi there! Most people know me by my name, Eduard, but I also go by the title: the Honorary-ry-ry-ry Generary-ry-ry-ry Secretary-ry-ry-ry!

I handle most of the big admin work of the Club, so you’re very likely to see me (and my laptop with 8283948829202 stickers) in the atrium from dawn to dusk (and sometimes dusk to dawn).

If you see me, feel free to say hi! 🙂

I was told I needed one interesting fact (they didn’t say it had to be about me) so… apparently, in Switzerland, it’s illegal to own only one guinea pig, because it’s considered animal abuse due to their social behaviours.
