Professor Nikolay Zheludev, a faculty member at the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore), has been elected a Foreign Member of the National Academy of Engineering (NAE), USA.
Election to the National Academy of Engineering is amongst the highest professional distinctions accorded to an engineer. At NTU Singapore, Professor Zheludev is a Co-Director of the Photonics Institute, and the Director of the Centre for Disruptive Photonic Technologies. He is also the Head of the Nanophotonics and Metamaterials group in Southampton University’s the Optoelectronics Research Centre, in the United Kingdom.
Professor Zheludev will be attending the induction ceremony at Washington DC, USA in October 2019.
