The inaugural CoS Challenge was held in January 2022, receiving a warm reception from the CoS community.
Leading up to the competition, CoS staff, faculty and alumni came together in late 2021 to contribute to the pool of questions known as the “Knowledge Bank”. Questions ranged from general trivia questions to puzzling brain teasers, to NTU-related questions. CoS students were invited to form teams of 4 ( + 1 reserve) to compete in the Challenge.
The preliminary round on 19 Jan saw 32 teams battle it out on the online platform Kahoot. The top 8 teams advanced to the semifinals on the afternoon of 26 Jan, from which the top 4 teams moved on to the finals that evening.
A physical and livestream audience got to witness the exciting final round held in Nanyang Auditorium, with even a segment for the audience to participate via Kahoot.
And here are the winners of the first ever CoS Challenge!
Also emerging as winners were the SBS Clade Andromeda who clinched ‘Best House/Clade’, and the Asian School of Environment who won ‘Best School’.
