Over the last two years, the COVID-19 pandemic has upended the daily lives of Singaporeans. As part of the efforts to safeguard public health, one of the safe management measures that was put in place was the suspension of physical events and gatherings.

Thankfully, this suspension was lifted in 2022, and students could once again enjoy attending physical events and gatherings.

In the same vein, NTU College of Science attended its first in-person university symposium since the pandemic began. Organised by Anderson Serangoon Junior College (ASRJC), the ASRJC University Symposium 2022 gave its students an opportunity to explore the different higher education institutions available both in Singapore and abroad.

Consisting of a series of panel talks and booths, ASRJC students got a chance to interact and speak with faculty members and student ambassadors from the various higher education institutions.

Together with Assoc Prof Chong Yidong from the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, NTU College of Science was represented by four student ambassadors. They provided ASRJC students with a valuable insight into the different schools, academic programmes as well as university life in general.

With the further easing of pandemic restrictions, NTU College of Science looks forward to reaching out to more potential students in upcoming university symposiums and open houses.
