Congratulations to Chan Luo Xi, recipient of the first Ling Yu Chich-Chen Siew Chee Award

Chan Luo Xi, an undergraduate from the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS) in Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore), has won the first Ling Yu Chich-Chen Siew Chee Award. 

The award was established by Professor Ling San, Acting President and Provost of NTU Singapore, in honour of his parents, Mr Ling Yu Chich and Mdm Chen Siew Chee. It aims to provide opportunities for overseas learning to talented and deserving undergraduate students who are currently pursuing a degree in Mathematical Sciences at SPMS.

Luo Xi, the inaugural recipient, will attend lessons at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology for six months, beginning in January 2023. Her intended courses of study include Astrophysics and Applied Cryptography, and Network Security.
