The article discussed the current and potential future state of cultured meat within the Singaporean market. I was asked to provide my insights on the matters of public perceptions of culture meat. The insights that I shared were based on the research project that I am currently conducting, which involves examining the public’s perceptions of cultured meat. Based on a survey of over 1000 Singaporean residents, conducted as part of my grant’s studies, our findings indicate that although there is a high level of hesitancy in trying cultured meat, due to novelty, there is room for relevant bodies and authorities to educate and persuade the public and businesses to be open to using and consuming cultured meat products.
