Many thanks to Prof Sarrina Li Shuchu for the special invitation! Very glad to give a keynote talk on 2 June to an interdisciplinary audience on “Risk communication and emotional appeals in government messaging for Covid-19 and dengue in Singapore” at the “Diseases, Well-being and the Environment: Research and Social Practices of Medical Humanities” conference, sponsored by the National Science and Technology Commission of Taiwan.
I shared our most research findings from project SPACE, where we analyzed government’s communication messages on Covid-19 and dengue. SPACE (“Shaping public adaptive capacity towards environmental infectious diseases” funded by the Singapore National Research Foundation) is a collaboration between NTU and CNRS@CREATE.
