Principle Investigator
Prof. Sunwoo Lee (Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University, Ithaca, NY in 2010, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University, New York, NY in 2012 and 2016, respectively, working on graphene synthesis and graphene-based nano-electro-mechanical systems for signal processing and sensing applications. In 2016, he joined the Molnar Group in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Cornell University as a post-doctoral researcher and worked on heterogeneously integrated CMOS for physiological monitoring and high-speed wirelines.

2023 August Intake
Rui Jiao received her B.S. in Electronic Information Science and Technology from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) in 2021. In 2023, she completed a joint M.S. program in Integrated Circuit (IC) Design, awarded by both the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and Nanyang Technological University (NTU). Currently, Rui is pursuing a PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at NTU, with a focus on microelectronics.
Yumin Zheng received the B.E. degree in measurement and control technology and instruments from the Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 2021, and the M.Sc. degree in computer control and automation from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, in 2022. From 2022 to 2023, he was a Research Associate with NTU. His research interests include robotics, embedded systems, and integrated circuit design.
2025 January Intake
Chaegyung Lee received her B.S. in Mechanical Systems Engineering from Sookmyung Women’s University (SMWU), South Korea, in 2025. In 2023, she worked as a system engineering intern at Emerson Korea. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the Interdisciplinary Graduate Program (IGP) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore.
Research Staff
Yuqun Xue received B.E. of Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Hefei University of Technology in 2016. In 2021, she received Ph.D. in Circuits and Systems by the Institute of Microelectronics at University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. From 2021 to 2023, she worked at HiSilicon, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. Her research includes the speech and image signal processing, digital integrated circuit design and AI accelerator.
Visiting Researcher
Anna Bird graduated from Purdue University with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering in 2019. In 2024, she received her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology from the University of Cambridge and is now working as a post-doctoral researcher with Imperial Global Singapore. Her research interests are low-cost point-of-care diagnostics and biosensors.
Vivek Mohan is a Research Fellow at Imperial College London, currently based at Imperial Global Singapore. He completed his Ph.D. from the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore and a Joint M.Sc. in Integrated Circuit Design from the Technical University of München and NTU. Previously, he worked as a Research Associate in the BRAIN Systems Lab at NTU, focusing on neuromorphic computer vision. His research interests span a range of topics, including neuromorphic engineering, brain-machine interfaces, integrated circuit design, signal processing, hardware security and machine learning.
