Charles Or
Charles obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Science and Master’s degree in psychophysics at The University of Hong Kong. He received his Ph.D. from the Centre for Vision Research and the Department of Psychology at York University, Canada. Before joining NTU, he worked at University of California, Santa Barbara and University of Louvain, Belgium, where he conducted face perception research using techniques including eye movement monitoring, electroencephalography (EEG) and computational modelling.

Graduate Students
Muhammad Shahir Adha
Adha is an M.A candidate from the Nanyang Technological University School of Social Sciences, where he also attained his B.A. (Hons) in Psychology in 2019. His research focuses on face recognition in humans. In particular, he is interested in how gaze fixations adapt to varying viewpoints during a face recognition task. When he’s not working, he enjoys long walks in the park thinking about his work.
