Perception, interpretation of sensory information in order to represent and understand the environment. Water is the source of inspiration for this haute couture dress. Blue Perception is a dress that expresses emotion through technology. Here 400 Swarovski crystals are embedded with LED lights that change colour to interact and predict the emotional state of the wearer. The motion of the dress is generated through the use of shape memory alloys SMA, which allows the lower part of the dress to change shape and then return to its original form. Here the technology mimics the ocean waves to enhance the movement of dress. The dress is worn by actress, Adrienne Wilkinson.
