Description

My idea is inspired by the construction of cocoon as a protective covering for the pupa. Connecting with the same idea of construction and to conceal my dress is a modern statement for ladies in this century. The dress is  constructed to provide a safe shell for the person wearing it.

Luminescent silk cocoons with colours found at the fibers of the silk. No colour dyeing was done to the cocoons to create the colouring. This saves energy and water consumption required in the  dyeing process of fabrics.
