Grace Lau - Paragon (2013)

Paragon (2014)

Grace Lau, Singapore

Description

is originally inspired from the mythological bird, phoenix and a variety of gowns. The look of Paragon is to be playful, yet at the same time achieving a posh and sleek image. The top of the dress will be embedded with beads to give a classy finish, while the skirt will consist of cascading folds, making it look fresh and different from the normal gown. Lights hidden within the dress and will be triggered using pressure sensor. Together with my A*STAR scientist Hendrix, the dress explore new possibilities of using LED and fiber optics communication in future.
