Description

This pair of 1M Shoes embodies the absurdity of increasing height in heels, wearable and fashion. More recently, models have been falling during catwalks due to the increasing height of heels. With the help of technology and ladies wanting to be like what they see in the media, consumer heels are also gradually getting higher. How high do they actually want the heels to be? How about going to one good height of 1 metre? The current Guinness World record holder is at 50cm. Now I am pretty sure we can beat them in their game. There is an experiment on people’s behaviour in relation to these 2 phrases: “Fuck the poor” and “Help the poor”. People had huge responses to the formal and turn a blind eye to the latter. Therefore, on first sight, I want viewers to think that this is a mad design and possibly worthless… only to realise later that this is just a more obvious portrayal of the current trend and that one does need to be more proactive in regards to the issue.
