Be a wellbeing change-maker in NTU!

Join this one-day Psychological First Aid workshop to learn fundamental knowledge and skills to support colleagues and students who are going through challenges and emergencies in life. You will be able to recognise signs of distress and tell if someone is at-risk. Fill your wellbeing toolbox with practical support tools to help the people around you deal with life crises.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the training, participants will be able to:

  • Identify signs of distress and types of crises.
  • Appreciate the importance of psychological support for someone in distress.
  • Apply the prepare, look, listen, link method to approach and help someone in distress.
  • Apply stress management techniques on yourself and others.
  • Refer those in distress to support and care resources within NTU.

Target Participants:

  • All NTU staff keen to make a difference in the lives of colleagues and students.

Participants will receive a certificate upon completion.
