Building a Caring and Supportive Community
Mediation is available in NTU to help resolve conflicts amicably.
The NTU-SMC Mediation Unit is established in partnership with the Singapore Mediation Centre (SMC). It serves to:

- Facilitate amicable resolution to conflicts arising between members of the NTU community.
- Increase awareness and buy-in of mediation as a dispute resolution method.
Mediation is voluntary and each session will be mediated by both an SMC mediator as well as NTU mediator.
Type of cases

- Staff/student disputes that cannot be resolved at ground level (prior unsuccessful attempts to resolve).
- Special cases with breaches in the Code of Conduct.
