Be a PFA Champion

Ever wondered how you can make a real difference in someone’s life – Simply by being there when it matters most?

“Be a PFA Champion” is your opportunity to step up and make a real difference. Psychological First Aid (PFA) is about offering comfort, listening with empathy, and providing support in moments of distress. By equipping yourself with these skills, you’ll be ready to reach out and care for those around you.

Join us in the upcoming activities and be part of building a stronger, more compassionate #OneNTU community!

“Singapore Book of Records” Quest (23 Aug 2025 – 22 Oct 2025)

Be part of our thrilling quest to set a Singapore Book of Records milestone for the “Most Number of People Trained in PFA within Two Months”!

Here’s how you can get involved:

“Be a PFA Champion” Challenge (Round 1: 7 Oct 2025; Finals: 9 Oct 2025)

Game for a challenge? Team up in groups of 2 to 4 and undertake exciting real-world scenarios via the PFA Mobile Learning app and live role-plays.

Showcase your teamwork, empathy, and PFA skills and stand to win cash prizes worth up to $3,000.

The Finals will be graced by Associate Professor Vivien Huan, Associate Vice President (Wellbeing), NTU Singapore.

  • All participants must complete and attain competency in a PFA training programme. This can be fulfilled through the PFA Mobile Learning app, NTU’s in-person PFA workshops, or other recognised PFA training (e.g. Singapore Red Cross-certified courses).
  • In addition, participants are strongly encouraged to attend at least one PFA experiential learning workshop. Details of the workshops will be shared with participants upon successful registration.
  • All participants are required to attend an online briefing session on Tuesday, 23 September 2025 (12pm – 1pm). More information on the session will be shared with participants upon successful registration.
