We are excited to invite NTU students and employees to our 4th wellbeing hackathon – Basecamp 2024. This annual event empowers the OneNTU community to generate impactful and sustainable ideas, contributing to a robust wellbeing ecosystem on campus.
Challenge Statement
“How might we foster a culture that prioritises sleep and rest to improve overall wellbeing?”
This year, we are focusing on the vital role of sleep in health and wellbeing. Join our wellbeing hackathon learning journeys between August and September to explore how we can better improve the way we sleep. To address these challenges, our wellbeing hackathon will explore strategies and insights that enhances sleep through three key focus areas:
- Mental Wellbeing: Raise awareness on the importance of having quality sleep and rest as well as the effects of sleep deprivation; enhance coping skills for managing stress and anxiety to improve sleep quality and overall wellbeing.
- Nutrition: Increase awareness on the impact of nutrition on sleep quality and encourage the NTU community to maintain healthy eating and sleeping habits.
- Physical Health: Encourage and empower individuals to incorporate physical activity into their daily routines to enhance sleep quality and health.
