About Nanyang Technopreneurship Center

Nanyang Technopreneurship Center (NTC) was established in January 2001 with seed funding from the Economic Development Board (EDB), Singapore. A multi-disciplinary university-level centre, NTC was created to be the focal point of technopreneurship education within the University and the region, and is committed to fostering, promoting and nurturing a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship endeavours through technology entrepreneurship education.

NTC equips its students with the requisite knowledge and skills in entrepreneurship competence through the Master of Science in Technopreneurship and Innovation Programme (MSc TIP) for postgraduates, the Minor in Entrepreneurship Programme (MiE) and Overseas Entrepreneurship Programme (OEP) for undergraduates, the Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) for executives, as well as several national and campus wide events and activities held year round. These includes the Chua Thian Poh Annual Distinguished Speaker Series, TECH Talks, NTC Guest Lectures and #startable – an innovative programme that encourages entrepreneurship among ITE students.

About The Chua Thian Poh Entrepreneurship Education Fund

Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU, Singapore) is the proud beneficiary of the S$5 million Entrepreneurship Education Fund, made possible by a generous gift from community and business leader Mr Chua Thian Poh. Dr Chua Thian Poh’s philanthropic contribution has been endowed to Nanyang Technopreneurship Center (NTC) to foster entrepreneurship and innovation through education.

Since its inception in 2008, the fund has benefitted countless individuals and organisations via various programmes and events, including:
