Since the alarming issue of declining of honey bee population has aroused, scientist have not yet found the main reason of Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD). However, many factors are often discussed in causing the collapsing of the honey bee colonies and it is currently concluded that some of these factors occurs in combination in causing CCD.
Several environmental factors that will be discussed in this blog include the increase in use of pesticides in the agricultural and urban areas, genetically modified crops and malnutrition, climate change and habitat loss.
