Hi all and Welcome to my Conservation Psychology Blog! My name is Vanessa and I’ve chosen to research on the biography of John Muir for my project. The reason why I chose him is that he is probably one of the most influential man back in his time, as he shook the world by stomp with his unwavering love for nature, inspiring many to take up green initiatives for the protection of our nature.
After researching on him, I, too, was inspired to start engaging in environmentally friendly behaviour such as recycling my wastes. Perhaps it was the increase in awareness of the large destruction of our nature that propelled me to do so. Thus, I would hope that after reading about John Muir, you all would feel the same way too.
John Muir may be someone whom we may not be familiar with, but he is in fact one of our world’s most renowned conservationist and strong advocate of U.S forest conservation.
