With Singapore striving to be a “City in Nature”, many parts of the country are still remarkably green, setting the scene for a new world where we can live in harmony with biodiversity. From seemingly ordinary parks, lawns and ponds, to nondescript vegetable gardens, Liu Ka-Shiang encourages us to make interesting observations and compare our city with other urban environments around the world. Even a small flower can invoke thoughts about how we face the wilderness in this city and what inspirations we can gain from it.

This programme is in Mandarin, and is co-presented with the Singapore Writers Festival.
