About Suzanne Scott Tomita:
Suzanne Scott Tomita was born in Tunisia and raised in Venezuela, Germany, Indonesia, Canada, and Australia. She has a PhD in Education from The University of British Columbia. Her writing includes personal essays on the topic of motherhood, mid-life, and marriage published in Canada’s national newspaper The Globe and Mail. She has published on the topic of home and belonging in Expat Living Singapore.

About S.J. Clarke:
S. J. Clarke is a British-born entrepreneur, author and educator. Since 2011 she has lived in Singapore. Clarke has extensive corporate and entrepreneurial experience, including managing global marketing and communications for the world’s leading financial technology brands, and founding companies. A prolific writer, Clarke has completed assignments in the Middle East and Central Asia; travelling to Iran, Oman, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. And, she’s currently working on her next book, which is due to go out on submission in 2025.  Ringside Gamble is her first novel.
