About The Speakers

Jason Erik Lundberg

Jason Erik Lundberg was born in New York, grew up in North Carolina, and has lived in Singapore since 2007. He is an award-winning author and anthologist of twenty-nine books, including A Fickle and Restless Weapon (2020), Most Excellent and Lamentable (2019), Diary of One Who Disappeared (2019), Carol the Coral (2016), Strange Mammals (2013), Embracing the Strange (2013), The Alchemy of Happiness (2012), Red Dot Irreal (2011), Fish Eats Lion (2012) and Fish Eats Lion Redux (2022), the six-book Bo Bo and Cha Cha children’s picture book series (2012–2015), and the biennial Best New Singaporean Short Stories anthology series (est. 2013).

Aditi Shivaramakrishnan

Aditi Shivaramakrishnan works as an editor, writer, and speech-to-text interpreter in Singapore. She has worked on art books, comics, and young adult fiction titles at Epigram Books, National Gallery Singapore, and Difference Engine, where she is currently a Senior Editor. Her writing has been published in ArtsEquator, Esplanade Offstage, JomPortside Review, and elsewhere. Find her at aditishiva.com.

Mok Zining

Mok Zining is obsessed with random things: orchids, arabesques, sand. Her first book, The Orchid Folios was shortlisted for the 2022 Singapore Literature Prize in English Poetry. She is editor at Ethos Books and spends most of her free time dancing.

Daryl Qilin Yam

Daryl Qilin Yam (b. 1991) is a writer, editor and arts organiser from Singapore. Shortlisted for the Singapore Literature Prize and nominated for the International Dublin Literary Award, he is the author of two novels, a novella and the bestselling short story collection Be Your Own Bae (2024). He co-founded the literary charity Sing Lit Station, where he presently serves as the managing editor of its publishing arm AFTERIMAGE.
