  • This programme will be conducted in Mandarin.

谁该报名?Who Should Apply?

  • 初级写作者 – 定义:首次写作或还未曾在期限之下写作的写作者。
  • 中级写作者 – 定义:已把写作列为副业或主业但尚未在主流出版社发表过任何作品的写作者。
  • 高级写作者 – 定义:已通过主流出版社发表过至少一篇作品的写作者。

亚洲创意写作项目与驻校作家将会从报名者之中(包括等候名单)筛选出咨询时段的参与者。

Writers, including:

  • Foundation Writers: Early-stage, promising writers with no publication history required. These writers may be writing for the first time or have never written with deadlines or structure before.
  • Intermediate Writers: Writers who have chosen to pursue writing as a full-time or part-time career with serious, professional intent but are not yet published with a mainstream or recognized independent publisher.
  • Advanced Writers: Writers who have published at least one book with a mainstream or recognized independent publisher, and/or have been published in at least one literary journal or anthology.

Participants will be selected by the Visiting Writer with assistance from the ACWP. A waiting list will be maintained.

若您曾经报名亚洲创意写作项目,您可以提交与之前相同的写作品和计划概要,但需提交最新的简历。

  • A 200-500 word writing sample (in Chinese)
  • A short summary of your writing project of 100 words (in Chinese)
  • A short biography of ~100 words (in both Chinese and English)

If you have registered with us before, you may resubmit the same information with an updated biography.

About 刘卫东 Liu Weidong

刘卫东 Liu Weidong is a writer, researcher, He started his creative writing studies since 2009 and obtained his Master’s degree in creative writing from Shanghai University in 2016, and obtained doctoral degree at Southwest Jiaotong University in 2021. Now he is a contract research fellow at Shanghai University’s Chinese Creative Writing Center (上海大学中国创意写作研究中心) and a lecturer at Wenzhou University’s Creative Writing Research Center (温州大学创意写作研究中心). He is the executive editor of Chinese Creative Writing Studies, a secretary of the Global Association of Chinese Creative Writing (世界华文创意写作协会), and an editor of the Centre for Cultural and Creative Publishing at Shanghai University (上海大学创意出版中心), and a member of AAWP, CWSO, NAWE, and ICLA.
