Danne Ojeda Hernandez

Danne Ojeda is Associate Professor in the School of Art, Design & Media, at Nanyang Technological University Singapore. She has published, lectured on and curated exhibitions related to contemporary art and design. She was a UNESCO research fellow at the Jan van Eyck Academy, Institute for Research and Production, Maastricht, The Netherlands (2001–2003). She is the author of the book Diagonal. Essays on Contemporary Cuban Art, JvE Editions, Maastricht, 2003, among other publications. She is also a member of the Editorial Advisory Board for the Journal of Communication Design, Interdisciplinary and Graphic Design Research, (Bloomsbury Publishing, UK), and a member of the Editorial Board for the British Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies.
Her publications and exhibition designs have received a number of awards, such as the Red Dot Design Awards 2010, Communication Design, in Germany. Danne Ojeda’s commissioned works by the Singapore Art Museum (SAM), 2010–2014, were awarded with Asia’s Top Designers Award, Singapore Design Award 2014.
