Inanc Zeliha Gul

Gül İnanç is a lecturer at the School of Art, Design and Media, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. She holds a PhD in modern history from Dokuz Eylul University, Turkey. She has conducted her post doctoral studies at the Institute of Middle East Studies, Harvard University, USA. She has written three books and published various articles on West Asian diplomatic history. Her current projects include creating student activity books/animated films/story books/board games promoting global cultural heritage, investigating ways to offer university education for the youth of refugee camps and deciphering the codes of contemporary religious art in general Islamic art in particular in the interfaith contexts of the 21st century. She has been a research fellow at Asia Research Institute, National University of Singapore since 2011 and a board member of Center for Asian Art and Design since 2014.
