Final Year Project(s)
Ever dreamt about growing fresh strawberries in your own home? or perhaps exquisite slipper orchids to impress visitors to your home? With the amount of heat in Singapore, it is no doubt a challenge to attempt such a feat. Stay Cool serves as a fine solution to provide cool growing plants a cheap and energy-efficient cooled environment to simulate ideal growing conditions for the plants to stay cool and happy all in the setting of the Singaporean home.
Stay Cool relies on frozen ice bottles that are replaced daily, complete with LED lighting and a fan for ventilation to provide the closed environment ideal for cold-growing plants to thrive in.
Apart from providing a cooled environment, the system also induces flowering for cool-growing orchids most notably Paphiopedilums (Slipper Orchids).
