Cloning produces genetically identical dog, hence there wont be any improvements in the dog breed. Meanwhile, breeding does result in better quality dogs. Cloning leads to decrease in genetic diversity. Therefore, if there is any contagious disease occur, it will wipe out the entire genetic population. Even though, the dog breed is cloned, there won’t be similar traits which may affect the dog’s overall health. |

No justification of organic and chemical free diet. It is simply not possible for something to be free of chemicals. Even water is considered chemical. |

A styrofoam cup (polystyrene) is a polymer. The long chain polymers are held together loosely by non-polar interactions between the chains. In addition, styrofoam is made with foaming agents, hence there are a lot of air spaces present between polymer chains. When styrofoam is immersed in acetone, it dissolves as acetone is also non-polar. The acetone serves as a molecular lubricant between polymer chain allowing them to slide around each other. The styrofoam becomes soft, releasing the air bubbles trapped in the foam, and hence become denser. |

a. LDPE cannot be used in this application because it does not have the required strength. LDPE is more branched, thus lessening molecular attractions between the chains and causing the gloves to be softer and more easily deformed and brittle (due to being very fragile in nature). b. The molecules of HDPE must line up in a way that produces the required strength. HDPE molecules, which are more linearly aligned, can approach each other more closely and form regions that are more crystalline. The result is an increase in rigidity and strength, causing the gloves to be very resistant to cutting. Hence since HDPE is stronger, stiffer, more heat resistant, more flexible at lower temperature, and more chemical resistant than LDPE, linear HDPE is more successfully used in this application. |

The molecules of the plastic become aligned parallel to each other and in the direction of the pull. This alteration of the three-dimensional structure is not reversible. |

a. Non-toxic, Stable over time of intended use, Non-reactive with body fluids, Insoluble in body fluids b. Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) was first used for rigid lenses. Newer rigid gas permeable polymers are fluro-silicone-acrylate polymers and fluoro silicones. Soft lenses are typically made of polymacon. The desired properties are, non-toxic, permeable to oxygen, comfortable to wear, inexpensive, easily cleaned and able to conform to shape of eye. c) Hard lenses are made of PMMA, while soft lenses are usually made of silicone. The properties of the soft lens makes it flexible and allow oxygen to reach the eye, thus allowing it to be more comfortable to the wear. |

The symbol N means the element Nitrogen 14N and 15N are naturally occurring mixture of nitrogen isotopes. Isotopes are same element that contains different number of neutrons but same number of protons. Thus 14N and 15N have specific mass number (protons+neutron). Therefore, they are both isotopes of nitrogen |
